Teliamura, 18th of March, 2024 : State police and Central Armed Police Forces conducted a flag march in Teliamura on Monday (18th March, 2024) ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. Initiatives are being taken by the police administration to complete the elections in a fair and peaceful manner.
Aiming to upcoming Lok Sabha elections, a flag march was conducted on Monday under the leadership of the Khowai District Magistrate & Collector and Superintendent of Police Officer of Khowai District. This flag march started in front of Teliamura Sub-Divisional Office. The administration has already taken steps by giving more importance to sensitive areas. This flag march is held in three block areas of Teliamura sub-division including three police stations.
“In view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the flag march is being organized with the aim to confidence among the common people and to assure the common people of administrative security of the elections. Such flag marches and patrolling will continue till the elections are over. Apart from the city, police patrols and road marches will also be held in the villages”, said Khowai District Superintendent of Police Dr. Ramesh Kumar Yadav.
Chandni Chandran, IAS, Khowai District Magistrate & Collector, Dr. Ramesh Kumar Yadav, Khowai District Superintendent of Police, Sirshendu Debbarma, TCS, Sub-divisional Magistrate & Collector of Teliamura, BSF and CRPF police forces and other senior police officers of Teliamura Sub-division were present in this flag march.
