Khowai, 18th of March, 2024 : State police and Central Armed Police Forces conducted a flag march at Chebri under Khowai District on Monday (18th March, 2024) ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. Initiatives are being taken by the police administration to complete the elections in a fair and peaceful manner. The administration has already taken steps by giving more importance to sensitive areas.
Aiming to upcoming Lok Sabha election, a flag march was started from Brindaban Ghat to Chebri on Monday under the leadership of the Khowai Sub-divisional Magistrate and Sub-divisional Police officer. From there, walk to different areas and inspects the security issues of the area.
Megha Jain, IAS, Sub-divisional Magistrate of Khowai Sub-division, Pushan Kanti Majumder, TPS, Sub-divisional Police Officer of Khowai Sub-division, OC Subir Malakar of Khowi Police Station, BSF and CRPF police forces and other senior police officers of Khowai Sub-division were present in this flag march.
