Platinum Jubilee Celebration Of Ramesh English Medium Higher Secondary School.

Udaipur, Tripura, 2nd of January, 2025 : With The Initiative of former students of Ramesh English Medium Higher Secondary School celebrated Platinum Jubilee celebration of Ramesh English Medium H.S School, at Ramesh English medium H.S School Ground, Udaipur on Thursday (2nd January, 2025). In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial Lamp.

 Addressing the Platinum Jubilee celebration of Ramesh English Medium Higher Secondary School Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that with the aim of providing quality education to the children of the state, the late Ramesh Chandra Datta established Ramesh School as a private school in 1951 outside Agartala. Today, the fame of this school is spread all over the country. Ramesh School is one of the oldest schools in the state. Its present name is Udaipur Ramesh English Medium Higher Secondary School. The fame of Ramesh School is spread not only in the state but also abroad. Students who have studied in this school are today working successfully in many important positions beyond the state and abroad. Students of this school have become Chief Ministers and MLAs of the state. Ramesh School has a tradition. This tradition must be maintained. Today is the day to remember the founder of this school, the late Ramesh Chandra Datta and his worthy son Dhirendra Chandra Datta.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the National Education Policy to modernize the country’s education system. The State Government is also working towards that goal. The state government has taken special initiatives to build new buildings, smart classes and modern educational infrastructure in the state’s schools. Now the children of the state are passing the All India Competitive Examinations with distinction. Educational channels have been launched in the state to make all the information related to education easily available to the students. The state government has arranged for 30 talented children to be trained in advanced coaching centers to prepare for competitive examinations like JEE, NEET etc. Bicycles are being given to girl students who have passed the ninth standard.”,  Chief Minister also added

Acting Headmaster of Udaipur Ramesh English Medium Higher Secondary School delivered the welcome speech on the occasion.

Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were Hon’ble Finance, Planning & Coordination, Information Technology Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, Chairman of the School Management Committee Shital Chandra Majumdar,  Sabhadhipati of Gomati Zilla Parishad Debal Debroy, MLA Abhishek Debroy, MLA Jitendra Majumdar; District Magistrate & Collector of  Gomati district Tarit Kanti Chakma and many other dignitaries were present in the inauguration ceremony.
