Police Seized Narcotics Worth 50 Lakh.

On the basis of secret information, Churaibari police station seized a large scale of narcotics alongwith two smugglers. As part the report, the worth of the narcotic yaba tablets is about 50 lakh rupess. Two smugglers were arrested with red handed along with it. It is known that around 12.30 noon on Saturday, the OC of Churaibari police station along with the team of the police station area recovered the narcotics from Kadamtala-Churaibari road.

The vehicle TR01BW/0301 has been detected adjacent to Churaibari area which was a white colored Hyundai Venue car. After searching the car, the police recovered ten thousand Yaba tablets from the secret room under the body of the car. Abul Basar (36), father Billal Miah, resident of Kanthalia and Jasim Miah (35), father Alkash Miah, resident of Sonamura were arrested. The police said that the black market value of the recovered Yaba tablets would be estimated at half a crore rupees. Yaba tablets were being taken from Assam to Sonamura. Besides, the police of the local police station have started investigation by taking a case under NDPS section. The arrested will be handed over to Dharmanagar District and Sessions Court shortly.
