Renowned Dance Teacher Shibani Goswami Represents Tripura At 10th International Sangam Mahotsav In Guwahati, Assam.

Guwahati, Assam / Khowai, Tripura, 20th of July 2026 : The three-day 10th International Sangam Mahotsav was inaugurated at Kumarpara, Guwahati, Assam on Sunday (19th July, 2026). The festival has brought together artists from various states across India, who are participating in competitions and cultural performances featuring music, dance, drama, recitation, and instrumental music. The event celebrates the country’s rich cultural diversity while providing a platform for artists to showcase their talent and promote cultural exchange.

Representing Tripura, renowned dance teacher Mrs. Shibani Goswami, founder of a distinguished cultural institution and associated with Sangeet Natak Akademi, was invited to participate. She attended the festival with a six-member troupe, proudly representing the state’s rich cultural traditions.

The inaugural programme was attended by President Sanatan Das, Secretary Haliram Baruah, Joint Secretary Manjumoni Baruah, and other dignitaries.
