Pune, 1st of June, 2026 : The National Prant Convenor’ Meeting of Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas (SSUN), New Delhi, concluded successfully at Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey (SNDT) Women’s University, Pune. More than 200 Karykartas, educationists, and office bearers from over 40 Prant across the country participated in the three-day meeting. Extensive deliberations were held on organizational development, the National Education Policy, Bhartiya Knowledge Systems, Bhartiya languages, Vedic Mathematics, Research, Teacher Education, Character Building, and various dimensions of education. A comprehensive roadmap for future activities was also finalized.

The meeting resolved that Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas will organize “Gyan Sabhas” in more than 15 Prant across the country. These gatherings will promote public awareness and dialogue on issues related to education, society, and nation-building.
It was further decided that a strong nationwide campaign on “Education for Viksit Bharat @2047” will be launched. As part of this initiative, committees will be formed by bringing together industrialists, educationists, administrators, public representatives, institutional leaders, and stakeholders from various sectors of society. These committees will work regularly on the role of education in building a developed Bharat and will formulate and implement concrete action plans.
The Nyas also decided to organize a National Programme on “Education for Viksit Bharat” on August 1, under the chairmanship of Shri Dattatreya Hosabale, Sarkaryavah of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The programme will bring together leading educationists, policymakers, and representatives from diverse sectors of society, further strengthening this national movement.

The meeting also resolved that on the occasion of the Sthapna Diwas of Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas on July 2, various programmes will be organized in more than 100 major cities across India. These events will promote awareness about the Indian perspective on education, the National Education Policy, and society-centric educational initiatives.
Recognizing the importance of women’s leadership in education, it was decided to organize an International Women’s Conference in Jim Corbett in October 2026. More than 20 countries have already confirmed participation by women leaders associated with the field of education. This unique conference will bring together distinguished women leaders from the education sector and provide a platform for discussions on education, leadership, research, and social transformation.
The meeting also resolved to organize national-level meetings and workshops on themes such as Education for Aatmanirbharta, Technical Education, Vedic Mathematics, Character Building, Environment, and other important educational issues before December this year.

A significant resolution was passed welcoming the decision of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to effectively implement the Three-Language Formula. The resolution stated that the Three-Language Formula is an important step towards the preservation and promotion of Bhartiya languages and the strengthening of national integration. It will help students develop linguistic competence, cultural understanding, and a broader national outlook.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Atul Kothari, National Secretary; Shri Suresh Gupta, National Treasurer; Shri A. Vinod, National Convenor; Shri Sanjay Swami, Shri Om Sharma, and Shri Rajeshwar Parashar, National Co-Convenor; and Ms. Savita Sengar, National Joint Secretary, along with educationists and office bearers from across the country.

Speaking at the concluding session, participants emphasized that education is the foundation of a developed Bharat. Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas reaffirmed its commitment to building an Bharat-centric, value-based, and nation-oriented education system by bringing together all sections of society.
