Students And Teachers Of Home Brought To Book Fair Initiative By Social Welfare And Social Education Department And Minister Tinku Roy.

Agartala, 3rd of March 2024 : On the twelfth day of the 42nd Agartala Book Fair today, students and teachers from different homes in Agartala were brought to the book fair under the initiative of the Department of Social Welfare and Social Education. The department took this initiative at the initiative of Minister of Social Welfare and Social Education Tinku Roy. More than hundred students and teachers from different homes of Agartala visited the book fair. At the book fair, SW & SE Minister Tinku Roy encouraged the students of the home to buy two books each of their choice. In this case, the social welfare minister himself will pay the price of the books, he informed the students.

Social Welfare and Social Education Minister Tinku Roy said that the department has taken this initiative so that the students of the home can feel united with the people of the country and the state. He expressed hope that the students of the home will also be able to play a role in the welfare of the society in the future. During the visit to the book fair, the Minister of Social Welfare was accompanied by his family members, Director of Information and Cultural Affairs Department Bimbisar Bhattacharya, Joint Director Anupam Chakraborty and many other dignitaries were present.
