Thieves Strike At Two Government Schools.

Sabroom, Tripura, 18th of January, 2025 : Thieves struck at two Government schools in the Harina Bazar area, Sabroom on Friday (17th January, 2025) night. According to the information received, group of thieves raided two schools in the Harina Bazar area of ​​Sabroom, breaking the school gates and cupboards and taking cash. The thefts occurred at Harina Girls’ High School and Harina Higher Secondary School. This morning, the morning teachers came to the school and found the locks on the school gates and rooms broken. The SMC Chairman and Manu police station were informed. The police arrived and conducted a preliminary investigation.

A total of ₹ 30,000 was stolen from the cupboard of Harina Girls’ High School and ₹ 55,000 from Harina Higher Secondary School. There were CCTV cameras in the school. The thieves have stolen the CCTV hard disk of the two Schools. Biplab Das a teacher at Harina Girls’ High School and Shankar Debnath, a teacher Harina Higher Secondary School highlighted the theft incident to the media.
