Tipraha Indigenous Progressive Regional Alliance (TIPRA) Motha on Saturday (30th September, 2023) has called for 12-Hour Tripura Strike to demand Greater Tipraland. 12-hour Strike of ADC area of TIPRA Motha affects Assam-Agartala national highway and railways. Strike supporters blocked the national highway in Hathaikotor (Baramura) and Mungiakami areas since morning. Traffic came to a standstill. Apart from this, the supporters of TIPRA Motha party stopped train movement by picketing in Mungiakami railway station area. A large police and security force is at the scene. Among the leaders in the Mungiakami area were EM Kamal Kallai, TWF Working President Manihar Debbarma, Gita Debbarma, and Mahendra Debbarma among others leaders were present.
