Tree Plantation Programme Organized By Suranjali Cultural Troup At Khowai.

Khowai, 9th of June, 2024 : Suranjali Cultural Troup social organization is the most prominent organization in Tripura. Suran jali Cultural Troup conducts social work and cultural events at various times across the state. They have been doing this for long 17 years.

With the initiative of Suranjali Cultural Troup social and cultural organization a tree plantation was organised as a part of World Environment Day at Kabi Guru Park, Khowai on Sunday (9th June, 2024). At around 10 am, an organization the Suranjali Cultural Troup social and cultural organization members planted trees.

The aim of the plantation drive was to create a positive impact on the environment, promote sustainable practices and protecting the nature for present and future generations. In this special drive, the prominent Suranjali Cultural Troup social and cultural organization have planted more than 70 saplings on this single day, which included numerous types of fruit bearing, ornamental as well as forest grown saplings.

President of Khowai Bharatiya Janata Party Mandal Subrata Majumdar, Vice Chairman of Mandal Tapas Das, President of Suranjali Cultural Troup Siddhartha Sankar Roy, Assistant Secretary of Suranjali Cultural Troup Argha Kusum Roy, many other members of Suranjali Cultural Troup and dignitaries were present in the event.
