TRLM Unveils Annual Action Plan to Strengthen Rural Livelihoods In North Tripura.

Dharmanagar, Tripura, 11th of June 2026 : The Annual Action Plan of the Tripura Rural Livelihoods Mission for the financial year 2026–27 was formally unveiled at the conference hall of the Circuit House in Dharmanagar, with the objective of strengthening rural development and livelihood opportunities across North Tripura district.

During the programme, Block Mission Managers and Technical Support Agencies from various blocks of the district presented their detailed action plans for the upcoming year. The presentations were followed by extensive discussions on development priorities, opportunities for inter -departmental convergence, and challenges faced at the grassroots level. Speakers highlighted that the role of every block, Self-Help Group (SHG), and field-level functionary is crucial in building sustainable rural livelihoods. Keeping this goal in focus, the mission has designed its programmes and strategies for the coming year.

One of the major highlights of the event was the felicitation of outstanding employees, Block Mission Units, and Self-Help Group members who achieved remarkable success during the financial year 2025–26. The awards were presented in recognition of their dedication, hard work, and contribution to rural development.

The programme was attended by North Tripura District Magistrate Chandni Chandran, the Additional District Magistrate, all Block Development Officers of the district, officials and staff of the District Mission Management Unit, and representatives from the eight Block Mission Management Units of the district.

As the mission enters a new financial year, TRLM reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening rural institutions, enhancing financial inclusion, and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities. Officials expressed confidence that the new action plan will play a significant role in advancing rural development and self-reliance across North Tripura.
