TRPCL Shines A Spotlight On Mega Drug Awareness & Hepatitis Prevention Programme.

A mega drug and hepatitis awareness programme to restrict drug addiction among students was organized jointly by TRPCL hepatitis foundation of Tripura, Amarpur, press club and sub divisional administration Amar Pur Nagar Panchayat at Anandadhara Hall. The programme was inaugurated by Miss. Patal Kanya Jamatia, Chairperson of TRPCL. The chief guest was Ranjit Das MLA of Amarpur assembly constituency. The other guests include Capt. GS Rathee, Dr. Pradeep Bhowmik, Professor of Agartala Govt medical College, Dr. Chiranjit Noatia, DIO Gomti, Shri Rabitra Jamatia Chairman BAC, Amarpur RD block, Dr Prasenjit Sarkar, SDMO Amarpur, Shri Pranamoy Saha Secy, Amarpur press club, Shri Bikash Saha chairperson Amarpur Nagar Panchayat, Mrs. social activist Kabita Jamatia, Singer Shri Jayanta Jamatia & other resourceful dignitaries.

As per the report, a large number of school students have participated in this awareness programme and availed many essential tips over the worst affects of drugs. Speaking to the gathering of the programme, TRPCL chairperson Ms. Patal Kanya Jamatia, emphasized on the awareness about drug abuse and hepatitis prevention in the vibrant community of Tripura state. She expressed enthusiasm about the event, stating, “Our mission is to equip the community with knowledge and resources to combat drug abuse and prevent hepatitis. We believe that awareness and education are crucial steps toward a healthier Tripura. This initiative underscores TRPCL’s commitment to promoting public health and community well-being.” The program featured wide range of informative sessions, interactive workshops, Cultural program and engaging activities with essential knowledge regarding drug abuse prevention and hepatitis awareness.
