On 22nd October 2022, Closing Ceremony of Training Programme of Community Volunteers on Disaster Response in 109 BN BSF Bagafa South Tripura. Closing ceremony was graced by Shri Saju Vaheed A, IAS, DM & Collector, South Tripura, Belonia, Shri Ashok Kumar Yadav, Commandant, 109 BN BSF and Shri Sarad Kumar Das, State Project Manager.
Trainees were trained with lecture on topics such as Disaster Management in General and Acts, Earthquake, Tsunami, Lighting & Thundering, Rescue and Relief Measures, Snake and Animal Bite, Roll of media in Disaster Management etc.
Practical Topics such as Patient assessment, Controlled Bleeding and Soft Tissue injuries, BLS & CPR, Oxygen Therapy, Medical Emergencies, Lifting and Moving Patients with Improvised Stretcher etc.
Commencement of training programme was from 10th Oct 2022 to 22nd Oct 2022 at 109 BN BSF Head Quarter. Sponsored by National Disaster Management Authority Govt. of India, Supported by Revenue Department Govt. of Tripura, Organized by District Disaster Management Authority, South Tripura and 109 BN BSF Bagafa, South Tripura.
Faculties of 109 BN BSF Forces Personnel along with Guest faculties from District Disaster Management Authority of South Tripura trained the trainees. Fooding and lodging during the course was arranged at 109 BN BSF HQ.
