Agartala, Tripura, 5th of September, 2026 : With the initiative of the Tripura Gramin Bank organized A Vigilance Awareness Programme at Agartala , Tripura on Saturday (5th September, 2026). The programme was conducted as part of the ongoing three-month-long Vigilance Awareness Campaign, being observed from August 17 to November 16, 2026, with the theme “Probity for Prosperity.”
The Chief Guest at the programme was Smt. Shankari Das, Secretary of the Law Department, Government of Tripura. Senior officials and staff members of Tripura Gramin Bank were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the event, the Chairman of Tripura Gramin Bank said that integrity, transparency and accountability are the key foundations of public trust and the sustainable growth of an institution. He emphasised that vigilance should not be viewed merely as a mechanism for detecting irregularities, but as a continuous process aimed at preventing misconduct, strengthening systems, improving procedures and promoting ethical decision-making.
He urged all bank employees to discharge their duties with the highest standards of integrity and transparency, while following prescribed procedures, safeguarding customers’ interests and ensuring an accountable banking system.

He further said that “Probity for Prosperity” carries a highly significant message—integrity builds trust, trust builds credibility, and credibility paves the way for sustainable prosperity.
The ongoing Vigilance Awareness Campaign will receive special emphasis with the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week from October 26 to November 1, 2026.
Tripura Gramin Bank has reaffirmed its commitment to further strengthening the culture of integrity, transparency, accountability and good governance.
