Youth Affairs & Sports Department Hosts Khowai District-Level Sports Kho-Kho And Handball Competitions.

Khowai, Tripura, 26th of August, 2026 : With the initiative of the Youth Affairs and Sports Department Khowai organized District-Level Kho-Kho and Handball Competitions at the Synthetic Football Ground in Khowai on Tuesday (25th August, 2026).

In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Khowai Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati Aparna Singh Roy inaugurated with event.

Addressing at the inauguration ceremony Khowai Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati Aparna Singh Roy wished success to the initiative to identify talented players through the district-level competitions. She expressed hope that the participants would perform well at the district level, advance to the state and national levels, and bring pride to Khowai, Tripura, and the country through their achievements.

Amidst the other distinguished dignitaries leaders there were Khowai Municipal Council Vice-Chairman Nibas Saha, Khowai Volleyball Association President Animesh Nag, Khowai Youth Affairs and Sports Officer Dibakar Debnath, along with other dignitaries, were present at the inaugural ceremony.
