Ampi, 9th of January 2024 : With the initiative of Sporting Club of Tuidu the 4th indigenous traditional attire and food festival 2024 has been organized here in Taidu under Ampinagar block in Gomati Tripura. This three day long (6th to 8th of January 2024) festival has created enthusiasm and excitement amidst the local indigenous people. Under the able guidance and supervision of the secretary of Sporting Club Mr. Govinda Kalai the fest was arranged nicely where a splendid reflection of indigenous food, costume, heritage and unique tradition of the indigenous communities was found through this event. The programme was beautified with many stalls where indigenous organic food, hand made costume and other indigenous traditional exhibition were expressing an unique identity of the communities.
As per the report, aiming to protect and preserve the unique indigenous heritage, food, culture and costume and promote them for the new generation the programme organizer has created an endeavour and motivated the new generation through this inspiring event. A good motivational message over the indigenous entity and their valuable heritage was given to people through this 4th indigenous attire & food festival.
