Prime Minister Narendra Modi Expresses Grief Over Loss Of Life In Lucknow Mishap, Announces Ex-Gratia For Victims.

New Delhi, Delhi, 8th of September, 2024 : The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi expressed grief over the loss of life after a building collapsed in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh today. 

Shri Modi also announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh from the Prime Minister National Relief Fund (PMNRF) for the next of kin of each deceased and Rs 50,000 for the injured. 

“The loss of lives due to a building mishap in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh is saddening. Prayers with those who lost their loved ones. May the injured recover soon. An ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of each deceased. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000: PM @narendramodi”, Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) tweeted.
