Agartala, Tripura, 4th of May, 2025 : The newly elected managing committee of Agartala Press Club met with the Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha at Chief Minister official residence, Agartala, Tripura on Sunday (4th May, 2025). The entire executive committee, led by Agartala Press Club President Pranab Sarkar and Club Secretary Ramakanta Dey, met with the Chief Minister at the Chief Minister’s official residence at 6:30 pm. The president and secretary presented a wreath to the Chief Minister on behalf of Agartala Press Club, along with Vice President Chitra Roy, Joint Secretaries Kamal Chowdhury and Abhishek Dey, Treasurer Ranjan Roy, Executive Members Biswajit Dey, Abhishek Debbarma, Mihir Lal Sarkar, Santosh Gope and Ranjit Debbarma. the Chief Minister assured cooperation for the overall development of Agartala Press Club and assured to take various steps to improve the professional standards of journalists.
