Agartala, Tripura, 12th of May, 2026 : The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Madhurupa Memorial Cancer Welfare Society (MMCWS) was successfully conducted at the society’s office in Agartala, marking a significant step forward in its ongoing mission to support cancer patients and promote awareness across the community.

The meeting was attended by members, supporters, and stakeholders who reviewed the organisation’s activities over the past year and discussed strategic plans for the future. The AGM served as a platform to reinforce the society’s commitment to patient care, early detection awareness, and community outreach.

A key highlight of the meeting was the election of the new executive committee for the upcoming term. The newly elected members are:

Addressing the gathering after his appointment, Secretary Joysankar Bhattacharjee said:
