Ampi, Tripura, 17th of October 2025 : The 18th State Level Anthar Buthar Festival 2025 of the Molsom tribe will commence on 21st of October here in Makhucherra village under Killa block, Udaipur in Gomati Tripura this year. Through a crucial press meet the MYA president Ramani Kumar Molsom and MYA general secretary Rambabu Molsom have jointly declared it.
The festival supposed to be commenced on 22nd of October but due to Tripura strike called by TUIPC (NLFT & ATTF) on 23rd of October the MYA (Molsom Youth Association) has conducted a press meet 2nd time and changed the date from 22nd October to 21st October 2025. Due to Tripura strike the concerned authority has taken this ultimatum determination to avoid any kind of obstacle of delegations for vehicle movement. The MYA authority has convened all people from all communities to attend this food festival to share the happiness of the programme and make the event successful.
Anthar Buthar Festival is the most significant celebration for the Molsom tribe through which a grand showcase of their heritage, cultural spectrum, traditional food, costumes, religious faith and lifestyle constitute for the programme spectators and that is why the programme organizer selected an appropriate date for the festival so that event dignitaries as well as all people from far off places may appear in the programme without any road communication disturbance and share the happiness of the event.
