Total of 5600 cadets (3300 Boy Cadets & 2300 Girl Cadets) in Tripura trained by three NCC units 13 Tripura NCC Battalion, 15 (Independent) Boys Company NCC, 71 (Independent) Girls Company NCC (26 colleges & 70 schools). Yearly requirement to conduct minimum 08 Annual Training Camps.
Combined Annual Training Camp is conducted by 13 Tripura NCC Bn at NSRCC from 09 Jan 2023 to 16 Jan 2023 for cadets of second and third year NCC who are eligible for B and C certificates and also for cadets from Schools who are eligible for A Certificate.
Opening address for the camp is delivered by Col MA Rajmannar, SM Commanding Officer 13 Tripura NCC Bn.
As per the report the third camp for the training year 2022-23 (Boys, Girls) Cadets from 12 Colleges and (Boys, Girls) cadets from 18 Schools of Tripura are participating.
Major Highlights of the Camp.
(a) Over all Theme. Cadet Empowerment.
(b) Basic Military Training. PT, Drill, Weapon Training, Firing.
(c) Eminent Speakers. BSF Officer, Army Officers, IAS officers, Medical officers, IPS Officers.
(d) Demonstrations. Disaster Management, Traffic Awareness, Cyber Security, . Meditation by Heart Foundation.
(e) Theme Based Days. Road Safety Week, Youth Day, World Hindi Day.
(f) Competitions. Drill, Firing, Lecturette, Group Discussion, Drawing, Cultural, Overall Best Cadet, Overall Best College and School.
The conduct has been made due to assistance from Education Department, Sports Department and 57 Mountain Artillery Brigade and the Artillery Units in Agartala.
