Khowai, Tripura, 30th of July, 2026 : With the initiative of Cultural Cell of Khowai organized Guru Purnima and Guru Honour Ceremony in the collaboration of Information and Cultural Affairs Department, Khowai District at New Town Hall, Khowai, Tripura on Wednesday (29th July, 2026).
In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Forest Minister Animesh Debbarma was inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial Lamp.
At the event four gurus present at the programme were felicitated on the stage by the guests with bouquets of flowers, traditional shawls, and citation certificates in recognition of their contributions.
Amidst the other distinguished leaders there were MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury, Dulal Debbarma, Deputy Collector, SC Committee Chairman Samir Kumar Das, and other dignitaries were present at the event. Students from different schools were also present at the programme.
