Sonamura, Tripura, 30th of July, 2026 : Sonamura Police during patrolling duty recovered and seized total 15 Nos Eskuf cough syrup and 10 Kg Dry Cannabis (Ganja) at NC Nagar Batadola border road, Sonamura under Sepahijala District on Wednesday (29th July, 2026).
According to sources, Sonamura Police Station recovered and seized total 15 Nos Eskuf cough syrup and 10 Kg Dry ganja. After that, it was seized following all legal formalities as unclaimed.
The destination market value of the 15 Nos Eskuf cough syrup and 10 Kg Dry Cannabis (Ganja) is approximately to be 2 Lakhs 15 thousands only.
Interacted with media Inspector Tapas Das, Officer in Charge Sonamura Police Station said that Sonamura police has started an investigation as to who could be the owner of these illegal seizes Eskuf cough syrup and ganja.
OC also stated that such operations against illegal contrabands would continue next day.
