DGP’s Demise: One-Day State Mourning Declared Across Tripura.

Agartala, Tripura, 20th July, 2026 : The Government of Tripura has declared a one-day State Mourning across the state on Tuesday in honour of the late Director General of Police (DGP), Anurag, as a mark of respect to his memory.

The General Administration (GA) Department, in an official notification, announced that the National Flag will remain at half-mast on all government buildings across the state where it is regularly displayed. No official entertainment events will be organized during the period of State Mourning.
