Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu Five-Day Religious Discourse at Shri Jagannath Jiu Temple.

Agartala, Tripura, 20th July, 2026 : Hon’ble Governor of Tripura, Indra Sena Reddy Nallu inaugurated a five-day religious discourse at Shri Jagannath Jiu Temple in Agartala on the occasion of Rath Yatra on Sunday (19th July, 2026). The programme commenced today and will continue until July 23.

Addressing the gathering, Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu said that a religious discourse is not merely a celebration of religious rituals, but also an important occasion for self-reflection and spiritual purification. He remarked that Rath Yatra symbolizes the eternal journey of Lord Jagannath from His temple into the hearts of His devotees.

The Governor further said that the Sri Chaitanya Gaudiya Math deserves appreciation for its tireless efforts to spread the message of divine love preached by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, transcending barriers of caste, creed, and religion. He wished the five-day religious discourse every success. Speaking on the occasion, Speaker of the Tripura Legislative Assembly, Ram Pada Jamatia, highlighted the significance and spiritual importance of the religious discourse.

Director of NIT Agartala, Prof. Sarat Kumar Patra, attended the programme as the Guest of Honour. Among others present were Swami Bhakti Kamal Maharaj, In-charge of Sri Chaitanya Gaudiya Math, Agartala, and Swami Bhakti Vaibhava Narayan Maharaj, In-charge of Sri Chaitanya Gaudiya Math, Mayapur. The programme was presided over by Swami Bhakti Bichar Vishnu Maharaj, President and Acharya of the All India Sri Chaitanya Gaudiya Math.
