Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Monday (5th December, 2022) has inaugurated Newly Constructed Building of Tripura Fire Service Training School at Matripally, Badharghat, Agartala. In the presence of many dignitaries Chief Minister also inaugurated Basic Training Programme of Civil Defence Volunteers on today.
“The employees of Fire Service & Emergency Services department play a huge role in safeguarding people’s lives and property. Their presence gives us hope even during an unfortunate situation”,Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said at the inaugural ceremony of Tripura Fire Service Training School and a basic training programme for Civil Defence Volunteers. The Chief Minister also said that the utmost importance has been given to modernization of fire services and the state now has advanced fire service system.
Ram Prasad Paul, Hon’ble Minister of Fire & Emergency Service and OBC Welfare, MLA Mimi Majumder and Secretary of Fire & Emergency Services department Apurba Roy also spoke on the occasion. Anindya Kumar Bhattacharjee Special Secretary of the department delivered the welcome speech at the inaugural programme. Joint Director Debjani Deb and other dignitaries were present in the programme.
