Hon’ble Minister of State for External Affairs and Education, Government of India Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh on Monday (5th December, 2022) has inaugurated newly constructed building of Dwarikapur High School at Kalyanpur block of Khowai District under the scheme of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan project.
The District Education Director Mihir Debnath said that the education system of the entire district has developed. He claimed that, in 2021-22, the work was completed in a short time by spending 26 lakh under the special management of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan project.
Hon’ble Minister of State for External Affairs and Education, Government of India Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh said that as a historic day for the Khowai district. The minister said that since 2014, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country’s Government has been moving forward by leveraging holistic development, including education, to build a new India.
The District Education Director Mihir Debnath delivered the welcome speech at the inaugural programme. 24 Ramchandraghat MLA Prasanta Debbarma, 27 Kalyanpur-Pramodnagar MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury, also spoke on the programme. Bipul Das, Joint Director, Elementary Education and other dignitaries were present in the programme.
