Agartala, Tripura, 21st July, 2026 : Kharchi Puja start with Adhibash Ritual. Devotees take part in a procession on the occasion of the traditional Kharchi Puja festival in Khayerpur, Old Agartala on Tuesday (21st July, 2025). Kharchi Puja is one of the most important festival of Tripura during which 14 deities are worshiped.
The rituals are observed for a whole week in the temple dedicated to the fourteen Gods at Old Agartala.The fourteen (14) Gods are Shiva, Durga, Vishnu, Lakshmi, Vani or Saraswati, Kumar or Kartikeya, Ganapa or Ganesha, Brahma, Prithivi, Abdhi or Samudra, Ganga, Sikhi or Agni, Kamadeva and Himadr
