Teliamura, 15th of April, 2024 : On the first night of Bengali New Year, Unidentified thief gangs are plundering school assets here in Teliamura English Medium Higher Secondary School, under Teliamura Subdivision. The incident took place on Sunday (14th April, 2024) night. Saturday and Sunday were holidays in the school, and on Monday morning school authority came to the school and witnessed the theft. As per the report of Teliamura English Medium Higher Secondary School unidentified miscreants have broken school doors and stolen many valuable school articles last night.
Thief gang came to school in deep night and destroyed the door locks then they took computer, set play materials from the school’s Tinkering lab and some other additional school items. The school is in proper place and there are many local students are studying here. Information was given to Teliamura police station. Police from Teliamura police station rushed to the spot after receiving the information. Interacting with media, the police said that they are investigating the incident. Meanwhile, questions have started to arise, strict security measures have been taken ahead of the election. In this regard, the Sub-divisional Police Officer has been promoting road marches and patrolling throughout Teliamura sub-division. The incident of theft of the school in that place is considered by various quarters to be a question mark regarding the security.
