NLFT, ATTF Returnees Conducted Press Meet.

Amarpur, Tripura, 15th of October 2025 : Under the active leadership of Debraj Jamatia, the president of Ampi block TUIPC (Tripura United Indigenous Peoples Council) a crucial press meet has been organized here in Chechua village under Ampi Nagar block in Gomati Tripura today. On this occasion ATTF & NLFT returnees from different locations have assembled here in the programme venue and took active participation in the discussion. Targeting the upcoming Tripura strike called by TUIPC on 23rd of October 2025 the president of the TUIPC of Ampi Nagar block committee has highlighted over many essential issues affiliated with indigenous communities as well as related with the ATTF & NLFT returnees.

Aiming to gain the returnees’ package benefit declared by the central government the NLFT & ATTF returnees conducted a mega discussion over the pending condition of their package. To emphasize the government for their fundamental provisional demands as well as the constitutional demands of the democratic rights they have exchanged their views and determined to support the coming Tripura strike strongly. Based on 8 items of charter demand for the Tiprasa people as infiltration push back, immediate Tiprasa Accord and extremist returnees’ package implementation etc TUIPC has called this Tripura strike.

The Ampi block TUIPC president Debraj Jamatia said to media person,”We have been deprived in various ways by the administration. No ATTF & NLFT package implementation nor Toprasa Accord came in reality. Illegal infiltration issue is also creating uncertainity for our indigenous communities. For our safe and secured future we are struggling hard but administration is not appearing in favour for us.” The programme has focussed over various issues and motivated the present extremist returnees to be united to compel the government to take immediate initiative.
