One Day District Level Awareness/Workshop On Different Schemes And Programmes Organized By SW & SE Department West Tripura District.

With the initiative of Social Welfare & Social Education Department West Tripura District has been organized One day District Level Awareness/Workshop On Different Schemes and Progrmmes at Pensioners Awas Ashray, Kunjaban, Agartala on Thursday (14th September, 2023). In the presence of many dignitaries Hon’ble Youth Affairs & Sports, Social Welfare & Social Education, Labour Minister Tinku Roy inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.

“Department of Social Welfare and Social Education are working for the welfare of the helpless and weaker sections of the society. Dissemination of social assistance of the Department to the actual beneficiaries is the priority area of the Department. Public representatives have a significant role to play in delivering the benefits of all these projects and services of the department to the actual beneficiaries.”, Hon’ble Youth Affairs & Sports, Social Welfare & Social Education, Labour Minister Tinku Roy said this at a workshop today. He expressed the hope that the workshop would help the public representatives to gain experience about the projects and services of the Social Welfare Department. He said that many people are not aware about the projects and services of Social Welfare and Social Education Department It is the responsibility of public representatives to present these projects and services to the public.

L. Ranchal, Additional Director, Department of Social Welfare and Social Education delivered the welcome speech on the occasion. Joint Director Dr. Chandrani Biswas, Achintan Kilikdar, Deputy Commissioner, members of West Tripura Zilla Parishad, Chairman, Gram Panchayat Pradhans of various Panchayat Samiti of the district and many others remained present in the programme.
