Martyrs are most memorable & respectable for their precious sacrifice for the nation all over the world. They have laid down their lives for the country and for this noble contribution they are immortal amidst the country men. Police Commemoration Day was observed in a befitting manner at Group Center CRPF Agartala where Shri Ravideep Singh Sahi, IG CRPF Tripura Sector, Officers and all ranks and files of the sector paid homage to the martyrs, remembering their heroic deeds in the backdrop of Chinese aggression at Hot Springs in Ladakh in 1959. IG CRPF Sh. Sahi also read out the names of the martyrs of all the Security/Police Forces who laid down their lives last year. He informed the CRPF men present there that like previous years, this year too, CRPF has the pride to be awarded with the highest number of gallantry medals among all the Forces in the country.
