Scholarship Award Ceremony Initiative Of Khitish Deb Memorial Scholarship Committee At Teliamura.

With the initiative of Late Khitish Deb Memorial Scholarship Committee held a scholarship award ceremony for financially poor but promising students. Scholarship award ceremony was held at BRC Hall, Teliamura H.S School on Wednesday (8th November, 2023).

After the death of the former Teliamura Nagar Panchayat Vice Chairman and retired DSP of Tripura Police late Khitish Deb, his son Vaskar Deb, a renowned lawyer of the state, started the tradition of awarding this scholarship in the father’s name since last year.

On this day, Khitish Deb Memorial Scholarship Committee awarded a scholarship of Rs. 2000 to the students (two from each school, one Boy and one Girl) who passed the eighth and ninth classes of 12 schools in Teliamura.

Teliamura Municipal Councillor Rupak Sarkar, Vice Chairman of Teliamura Municipal Council Madhusudan Roy, Khitish Deb Memorial Scholarship Committee Chairman Manoranjan Gope, Khitish Deb Memorial Scholarship Committee President Khirodhranjan Deb, Son of Late Khitish Deb and Eminent lawyer Vaskar Deb and other dignitaries were present in the programme.
