With the initiative of Ambassa block TIPRA Motha organization a protest rally has been conducted at Ambassa under Dhalai District on Saturday (21st January, 2023). Protest rally is protesting the murder of TIPRA Motha leader Pranjit Namasudra in Kamalpur Bamancherra area. TIPRA activists marched on road at Ambassa and shouted for immediate arrest of the culprits. A large number of Motha activists were found in the rally.
Party leader Prem Lal Molsom said this incident repeatedly proves that no matter how much the Election Commission claims to complete the elections in a fear-free environment in the state, it is very difficult in the rule of the ruling party. He claimed that the supporters of the ruling party were directly involved in the murder of a loyal worker of the party. TIPRA Motha demanded immediate arrest to all criminals those who involved in this murder and given exemplary punishment.
