Guwahati, Assam, 20th July, 2026 : Demonstrating its commitment to maintaining a clean and welcoming airport environment, the Guwahati Airport Taxi Association carried out a cleanliness drive at the Arrival Pickup Point of Terminal 2 at Lokapriya Gopinath Bardoloi International Airport.
During the drive, members of the association cleaned the ramp area and removed paan and spitting stains from the arrival kerbside. The initiative was aimed at enhancing the cleanliness and overall appearance of the passenger pickup zone, ensuring a more pleasant experience for arriving passengers and visitors.
The initiative reflects the association’s sense of responsibility towards maintaining public spaces and supporting ongoing efforts to keep the airport premises clean, hygienic and passenger-friendly.
The Guwahati Airport Taxi Association has reaffirmed its commitment to contributing towards a cleaner airport environment through such voluntary initiatives and encouraging responsible civic behaviour among all airport users.
