The MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) of Tripura state body has obtained glorious achievement in the 2nd India open MMA youth championship in this year 2022. A warm welcome reception has been arranged here in the Agartala railway station this morning when the victory MMA team arrived this morning with great enthusiasm and excitement.
Tripura State Mixed Martial Arts Association the sole MMA governing body in Tripura, affiliated under MMA India and member of International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF). MMA Tripura participants consisting of four fighters and one coach participated in 2nd India Open MMA Youth Championship at Jabalpur – Madhya Pradesh from 2nd to 4th December 2022. In the Championship MMA Tripura achieved one Gold and two Bronze medals and inspired the MMA lovers. Adam Hrangkhawl secured the Gold Medal, Aman Chandravanshi achieved the Bronze Medal and Juel Hrangkhawl obtained the Bronze Medal in the final event. Manisha Debbarma fought well though she could not achieve any medal in the competition.
Kru Chandrakanta Debbarma as MMA Tripura Team Coach who took proper care of the players and motivated them constantly. He has supported the fighters and provided them all kinds of tips till the final competition. Under the able guidance and supervision of Kru Raymond Bongcher, the State In-charge and Technical Chairman of MMA Tripura the fighters are getting enough inspiration in the performance, sources said. He spoke about his satisfaction and praised his fighters for putting up their best effort. Adam Hrangkhawl is the first MMA Tripura Youth Fighter who secured Gold Medal in National Level and it is the History for the state of Tripura.
