Agartala, Tripura, 13th of March 2025 : Mukhyamantri Samipeshu programme the weekly public interaction programme of Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha. The Chief Minister interacted with the common people about their issues and difficulties.

As the part, the Chief Minister’s weekly programme “Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’ on Wednesday (12th March, 2025), people of different profession in the State attended the programme. They spoke with the Chief Minister regarding their problems seeking assistance on various aspects such as medical treatment, financial assistant, education etc. Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha patiently listened to each of them and directed officials and Secretaries of concerned departments to take the necessary initiatives. Like other days today also the chief minister, in his official residence, listened to the grievances and complaints of people coming from different corners of the state. None of the visitors went back disappointed as the chief minister offered his support in one way or the other.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha once again extended a helping hand to citizens in need during the 39th episode of the Mukyamantri Samipeshu program, held at his official residence today.Among them, Koel Sinha from Phultali, Kailashahar, who is undergoing treatment at Mumbai’s Tata Memorial Hospital for a bone marrow transplant, received assurance of financial aid from the state government. Her father, a TSR jawan, had appealed for help due to the high cost of treatment. Similarly, Biplab Das from AD Nagar, Agartala, sought assistance for his wife’s thalassaemia treatment. The Chief Minister directed officials to extend financial aid through the Scheduled Caste Welfare Department.

Ranabir Acharjee from Pal Para, Amtali, who required medical assistance for his daughter, received immediate attention, with the CM personally instructing the Medical Superintendent of GB Hospital to take necessary steps. In another case, Bishnupriya Sutradhar from South Joynagar requested financial aid for her daughter. The CM directed the Social Welfare and Social Education Department to provide the necessary allowance. The program also saw appeals from Partha Pratim Roy of Bordowali, Babu Lal Debnath from west Khupilong, Killa, Sathi Rani Pal a resident of Joynagar, Agartala, Priyanka Bhattacharya a resident of Krishnanagar and Kaberi Dev from Sukanta Palli, Kumarghat and many more asks for medical assistance. The Chief Minister, after reviewing their documents, instructed GB Hospital and Atal Bihari Vajpayee Regional Cancer Hospital to take necessary action. Key officials present at the event included Dr. PK Chakraborty, Secretary to the CM, Kiran Gitte, secretary of Health & Family Welfare, Tapas Roy, Secretary of Social Welfare & Social Department, Dr. Vishal Kumar, West Tripura DM and Collector, Dr. Sankar Chakraborty, Medical Superintendent of GB Hospital and Dr. S. Debbarma, Medical Superintendent of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Regional Cancer Hospital.
