Seventh Day Of CATC-50 By 13 Tripura Battalion NCC At Agartala.

Agartala, Tripura, 29th of June 2026 : The seventh day of the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC)-50, organised by 13 Tripura Battalion NCC, Agartala, was conducted with great enthusiasm and discipline at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Youth Hostel. The camp continued to provide a balanced blend of military training, leadership development, and personality enhancement, enabling cadets to strengthen their skills and prepare themselves for future responsibilities.

The day commenced with physical training and drill sessions, followed by structured military instruction and practical classes conducted by the training staff. Cadets actively participated in field exercises, map reading, weapon training, and other military subjects designed to enhance their confidence, discipline, and teamwork. Interactive lectures and awareness sessions further enriched the cadets’ knowledge on topics of national importance and social responsibility.

A special Waste Management and Recycling awareness session was conducted by ANO Second Officer Sanjay Pal, who highlighted the importance of environmental conservation, scientific waste segregation, recycling practices, and sustainable waste management. The session encouraged cadets to adopt eco-friendly habits in their daily lives and to act as ambassadors of environmental protection within their communities. Through practical examples and interactive discussions, the cadets gained valuable insights into promoting cleanliness and supporting the vision of a cleaner and greener India.

The Commanding Officer, 13 Tripura Battalion NCC, Colonel N. S. Baath, interacted with the cadets and motivated them to uphold the ideals of discipline, dedication, and selfless service. He encouraged them to make optimum use of the training opportunities provided during the camp and to develop leadership qualities that would enable them to contribute meaningfully to society and the nation. Colonel Baath also appreciated the efforts of the training staff and resource persons, particularly ANO Second Officer Sanjay Pal, for conducting informative and impactful sessions that enhanced the cadets’ awareness and overall development.

The day’s programme concluded with evening camp activities and an administrative briefing, reflecting the enthusiasm, discipline, and commitment of the participating cadets.

CATC-50 continues to serve as an excellent platform for developing confident, disciplined, and socially responsible youth committed to the ideals of the National Cadet Corps.
