Dharmanagar, Tripura, 18th of May 2026 : The Prime Minister has been emphasizing fuel conservation across the country. Responding to that call, Dharmanagar MLA Jahar Chakraborty took a unique initiative by using a motorcycle instead of his personal four- wheeler to spread awareness about saving fuel among the public in different parts of Dharmanagar. Riding his motorcycle from his home to Dharmanagar Railway Station, the MLA met MP Rajdeep Roy. His initiative received a positive response from the public. Many people believe that when public representatives personally step forward with awareness campaigns, it creates a stronger impact on society.The MLA was accompanied by his wife, Barnali Goswami, along with several party workers. They interacted with local residents and highlighted the importance of fuel conservation.
The MLA also urged people to reduce unnecessary fuel consumption in order to protect the environment and save money in the present times.Some residents of Dharmanagar said, “If public representatives stand beside ordinary people and spread awareness in this way, positive changes will come to society.”The initiative promoting fuel conservation and environmental awareness has created an atmosphere of appreciation throughout Dharmanagar.
