Agartala, Tripura, 18th of February, 2025 : A Bangladeshi National human trafficking has been arrested from the BTM area in Bengaluru and brought to the Agartala GRP police station on Tuesday (18th February, 2025). According to the Government Railway Police (GRP), he was arrested on charges of being involved in a human trafficking case at the GRP police station in Agartala. He used to take Bangladeshi nationals who had illegally come from Bangladesh to Bengaluru with the help of Bangladeshi brokers and Indian brokers in the border area and use them for various illegal activities.

A special investigation team is interrogating him, the Government Railway Police (GRP), police station, Agartala in this regard and it is hoped that the names of many more brokers may emerge from him. This operation was carried out jointly by Tripura Crime Branch and GRP Tripura. According to GRP the names of the arrested person Niloy Ahmed (30), S/O- Md. Hanif, from Golapbag Village, Jatrabari, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Officer In-Charge of Agartala GRPS Tapas Das gave details about this today.
